5 by 5 rule


If it is not going to matter in 5 years don’t spend more than 5 minutes being upset over it. #truth!  So many times we focus on things that we shouldn’t for too long.   Examples being break ups, opportunities missed, changing of friendships and more.  Often times we dwell on these things for too long when we should recognize the situation be sad for a bit and move on.  It is better to focus on the future and put energy into something more positive than to focus on the past and keep being upset or sad. We are so blessed with having the opportunity to live a long and full life some of the experiences we will encounter will only be a blip in the grand scheme of life and that is the prime reason why we should not dwell on issues that are insignificant and small.  Give it 5 minutes and get over it!
